1:1 Mentoring, Coaching & Goal Setting
In the modern age we live in, our lives are overrun by technology and media. Children and young people can readily access literally anything online. This often displays and promotes an unrealistic impression of what we should look like, how we should act and who we should spend our time with.
The internet can be a positive platform for forming friendships, accessing support systems and creating a community of like minded people. Unfortunately, it can also be destructive, leading to mental health issues and personal, social and emotional issues. Children as young as 8 or 9 feel that they are not able to attain these social expectations and are left with a feeling of low self worth and despair, often leading to other mental health and behavioural issues.…
Using the Zones of Regulation system, we teach children and young people how to regulate their own emotions better, leading to improved decision making and self management. We aim to raise them emotionally above the hype and for them to see their own worth, as they are.

It’s important that our children and young people have a balance of boundaries and clear expectations to enable them to develop as well balanced members of society.
We use mentoring, mindfulness, meditation and teach skills such as journaling, positive affirmations, goal setting and self reflection. Having these skills helps young people to get back on balance and to prioritise ourselves again. It helps them to see clearly and be better equipped to make important choices.
